Hey there! I’m Alyssa
I started Lyss & Co because I saw a growing gap.
Too many brands settle for fast, surface-level work instead of thoughtful, emotionally rich design. I believe people deserve more than quick turnarounds.

As a BFA Graphic Designer and creator, I've been able to refine my craft through a variety of mediums, always searching for the intersection where design meets nature. This exploration has led me to discover a profound connection where the organic beauty of the natural world informs and elevates my design process. The foundation of this journey can be traced back to two periods in my life, each that shaped a creative path that continues to guide me today...

Childhood, where most days were spent in outdoor Michigan amidst the grass making “potions,” building forts in the woods, or tracing pictures in the snow
Time spent at university, where assignments were completed on park benches or next to big windows that offered views of the university's agriculture & architecture

Formed over time, a philosophy emerged that directly shapes the work I create:
Nature reveals that the core principles of great design—balance, repetition, pattern, texture, and complex systems—offer the greatest lesson: slow down, notice what’s in front of us, and align with the environment we’re creating for. This approach helps me create work that feels intentional, cohesive, and deeply considered, allowing your brand to connect in a way that feels memorable and genuinely human.

Streamlined simplicity is key.
We start with clarity, design with intention, then build thoughtful systems that bring every piece together. It’s a focused process that leads to cohesive solutions across branding, collateral, and overall strategy.
Everyone has the power to build their dream business, Lyss & Co is here to help achieve that.
"Great design is a multi-layered relationship between human life and its environment."
